• Creation of clip art (non computer/Pen and Ink Illustrations)
for various CD-ROM packages.
(Although I still see these every now-and-again, I am only
reminded of how much my thumb vibrated after drawing
thousands of these. I sometimes wish that they had picked
more than 500 of them, or that they would have given me
royalties. Oh well, C' est la vie.)
1988-90• Graphic Designer/Illustrator
Index Publishing, Ltd., Allentown, PA
• 4-color process(CMYK) layout and design on mechanical
boards for magazine production.
• Held part in creating entirely new publications, illustrations
and logos.
• Viewed color-keys and blue-lines, over-looked the stripping
opaquing process and communicated with the printers.
• Retrieved film flats, chromes and boards and kept inventory
as well as ordering new materials.
• In 1989, Index Publishing, LTD. entered the computer age
with their first Apple MacIntosh, using Adobe Illustrator and
Aldus Freehand, for their magazine page production. Played
part in that transformation (Little did I know; I would remain
behind a computer from that day forth).
